It’s not easy watching knits and warmer wear sitting here in Greece with temperatures in the high 30’s !! 🥵😂 I’m not a fan of double denim and although I love chunky sweaters, there are very few opportunities to wear them here as it rarely feels cold enough.I’m hoping there will be more navy blue around this autumn season as I love it and it looks so chic and can be paired up with so many colours.🧡💛🌻

I love it, too. Where has all the navy blue gone this year? It’s a summer staple. Fifty shades of hideous orange and no classic navy!

I think the chunky knits are also not made for really cold winters, because you cant wear your winterjacket over it. Its a lovely thing for photos.

@Alice Soundso I agree! I would probably be able to get away with one and not wear a heavy coat outdoors here in Greece but inside they’re just too bulky and hot ! I’ll just admire them on others !!😆

💟💜💟 So interesting that you say “Canadian Tuxedo” because I’ve heard in the last couple of seasons that it is a NO, NO when it comes to dressing in a current & stylish manner! I actually love denim so I always enjoy wearing denim
& own many different pieces despite the negative buzz! As far as fringe goes, I never cared for it, so I don’t own anything with fringe. Thanks for sharing !!!

I hate summer and can’t wait for Fall, which starts in November here (San Francisco). I want my boots and blazers. I can’t complain, though, we’re having some nice cool weather while nearby regions are getting broiled.

      July 17, 2021 at 2:58 am

Yes, neighbor. I’m glad we are having our usual cool summer but pray the heat that hit the Pacific Northwest won’t come down here! Funny I say that because I left The City for it’s cold summers but now I like the coastal fog we get up on our ridge in Sonoma County. But the drought is getting to be a real pain.

Laughing in agreement at your comments. I thought I was alone in hating summer & jeans!
      Cannot wait for Fall. Yay!

Loving summer here in Oregon. The trick is to stay in or right by the cool, cool rivers. have inner tube will travel. The coast is cooler, too. never too hot to be on the beach.

I love this cooler, neutral blush pink. For the last ten years “blush” has been too orangey and peachey for me, this is much better.

      July 15, 2021 at 1:53 am

Yes it’s def got more of a blue base to it that’s for sure 🙂

      July 16, 2021 at 4:15 am

Amen sister! My pinky blue complexion hates that Millennial pink that’s been out for forever it seems. Warm colours have dominated fashion since Instagram got popular.

    • jacqueline schael

      July 17, 2021 at 3:01 am

Me too. Blush pink does not work well with my complexion. I do prefer cool, icy pink.

    • stretchkitty21

      August 15, 2021 at 8:56 am

Blush pink makes me look naked. Lol makes a better nude than nude so I try to find underwear and bras in that color.

    • Stacey Kersting

      August 21, 2021 at 6:27 pm

It often looks too washed out for me, but I’ve seen it in a few items I like. I’d wear it in a jacket, maybe. A shirt or pants wd be too close to ‘nude’ for my skin tone.

I am Canadian, but I am not fond of the Canadian Tuxedo! I am happy to hear that blush pink is still in style, as it is a colour I enjoy wearing. Thank you for the enjoyable and informative content!

Fall? Booooooo. But I appreciate the heads up it coming. Double down with denim, I will be wearing the Canadian tuxedo in all forms, when the cooler temps pop up again. I like the criss cross crotch look but don’t like the designers’ prices. I use this method to make the trousers on the men suits I thrift fit without getting them altered. So not wearing my sweater vest at the time because I don’t want to be sweating into the knits. But I will make sure I store them where I can get to them faster when the air start to chill. This was a very good video, even though I not even willing to think about Fall/Winter. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

I loved your encouragement at the end to take time to plan your autumn wardrobe and see what outfits you can make. Fashion is supposed to be fun and a great way to express yourself. I have so many memories from childhood of playing dress up in my mom’s closets! When my children were young, I encouraged them to do it, too. If we get stuck in a fashion rut, it’s such a great way to find our inner style guru. Then, take notes on what you would like to fill in the blanks and go from there.

I love the look of the Agolde jeans, but would not spend the money on something that is more of a trend piece. If I found a good look for less, I would consider buying that. If I’m going to spend that kind of money it better be a more classic style that will last for years – the old cost per wear thing.

What an informative video … thank you! Great summary of Squarespace! Love the overall denim trend, and your suggestions for how to wear that trend are spot on. Like the blush trend, and I’ve stayed away from that color thinking it may not suit my pale skin, but I’ll give it a try now that I know it’s a universal neutral color. Like that vests are in again … such a comfortable and cute way to add warmth.
