If you've been following me here for a while you'll know how much I love "wearable" fashion. Don't get me wrong I love making a style statement but not at the expense of my comfort or wallet LOL. So in today's video I wanted to share six very cool spring summer trends that are not only really wearable but will also stand the test of time. So if you do decide to update your wardrobe you'll be able to enjoy these pieces for years to come. Yes, I will wear updated versions of bermudas, some feminine puffy sleeves, and vests (like the one you’re wearing). But not loose or over sized dresses which remind me of my pregnancy days (and I did have some pretty ones). Semi fitted, comfy dresses are OK anytime, especially linen summery styles.

Hi Leonnie, what color would you recommend to buy if a person was going to invest in its first good quality pair of boots?

@Rose M Hi Rose it really depends on what the rest of your clothes look like and what type of boots you are looking at. I think natural leather is always a good choice to be honest because they look great worn with dark and light outfits. I also love snakeskin too for that reason. Most of us go for basic black but they can also be too heavy for lighter outfits. Hope this makes sense 🙂

@The Style Insider Thanks Leonie for your reply. I agree with you with the black color. I am planning to get a RM Williams ankle boots since hight boots are difficult to find for my high 4’11 and my slim body frame. My wardrobe palette is more neutral.

@Di Grenier did you end up gaining weight in the meantime? Breasts are mostly fat so weight gain makes a difference. Even 5-10 lbs. speaking from experience😂. There are a lot of videos on this topic.

@Karina Lemus I would talk to a doctor before not doing it because of the fear of them growing back. If they get bigger I would think it was because someone was not done developing, so a very young adult, or weight gain. Breasts are mostly fat so even a 5-10 lb weight gain can make them quite a bit bigger. I lost. About 5 lbs and I went down a full cup size.

@Pap Pyone nope…. I’m a size 6. That is me in the picture. So was a size 6 before my reduction and still a size 6 today.

@Pap Pyone your body does what it wants I guess. But I was told that they can grow back, as in my case. I guess it’s like tonsils, which also can grow back. 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve always been a fan of Bermuda shorts. Depending on the fabric they can be worn very casual to mindfully tidy.
I could see a linen blend loose fit Bermuda short paired with a puff sleeved blouse. Both in desaturated colors. I think I’ve talked myself into a new outfit this summer!🤪

Dresses are all beautiful, Bermuda shirts a must, with flats and heels.. I’ve never liked vest, I love puffy sleeve.
Love draw string wide leg pants ! Been wearing them forever.
Also love the loose boyfriend Jean especially at my age.

Greetings from California! Love your videos …I just find that they give me a starting point for my daily style choices. I’m loving all the new fashion out there this spring. Hi Leonie, so glad you asked…. I actually love both biker short & Bermuda shorts. The longer length gives a more flattering look for the mature gal. I find them so easy to wear & style, also comfy in the warmer months for a quick, get out of the house situation! Love ya sweetie!I

I love Bermudas, they are so elegant. I fell in love with a white knit set, with matching tank, on Pinterest, but there wasn’t any brand information. That’s my dream summer outfit, in linen jersey.

I would love Bermuda shorts in a jersey/knit, elastic waist, version, without any synthetic fiber content. Cotton, linen or viscose/rayon with just a few percent of Spandex/elastane for shape retention, would be great. My woven shorts, with fitted waistbands, look great, but aren’t really comfortable for all-day wear.

Elasticated waist bands are fab. I really love the ones that have a regular waist band at the front and an elasticated panel through the back 🙂

I’ve been loving knit vests, too. I ordered from Amazon, because of the low prices and traditional fit, and 100% cotton fabric, in black and white, plus a black-trimmed white cricket-style one that’s my favorite. I also got a navy and white striped one from Zara, but it was twice the price. I wear them over cotton shirts on cooler days, or as stand-alone tops on warmer days, they’re great, versatile, and classic, too. A dark one visually slims the body also, as I discovered with my black one.

Love Bermuda shorts – they are the only type of shorts I’ll wear since I have fuller thighs and they’re very slimming for this area. I’ve worn then casual and to the office with a blazer. ✌
