I have been through the straight leg, boot cut, wide and skinny twice now (showing my age) and everything comes back around. When we want to wear jeans with tall boots again and you try to stick non skinny jeans into the boot and look like an original Star Trek character…lol…I guess what I am saying is, do not get rid of any style of jean…they will be back and then considered vintage. Also, once you get to a certain again, you know what works on your body and you don’t care so much about trends and stick to classic styles. I watch you for ideas and you’re so sweet and fun.

@Hannah Meyer fashion is always recycled. The best way to go about being in ‘trend’ is knowing that!

I’ve been through them ALL as well. I remember being sad when BOOTCUT disappeared, and hated skinny jeans! Now I LOVE skinny jeans. But with that been said, some of these ”trends” were NOT in fashion in the 90s. I graduated in 2000 which means my hs years were from ’96-2000- we did NOT wear this crap. Most of this was from the 80s, early 90’s. The new denim trends are NOT flattering on most body types in my opinion.

I’ve been teleported back to the ’80s 😱!
But no matter the decade, Shea, you are always adorable. Keep up the good work 👍!

Love you…hated all these trends. I must be really out of touch with fashion. I’ll stick to my skinny jeans a bit longer! 😂❤

Skinny jeans are required for tall boots, everything else looks awful tucked in

If you know anything about fashion it repeats itself @ every 25 years. If you don’t like something, don’t buy it. If everyone dressed alike, it would be really boring.

@Shea Whitney I love, Love the jeans. I am going to order some but the sizing has me all kinds of nervous so fingers crossed.

Preach. Style is you, we girls will have things in common but a trend is lumping things/bodies/people together.

I’m hating these trends, they’re not flattering at all in my opinion 🤷🏻♀️

The only trends I liked were the Coach baguette bag & lounge wear. The exaggerated sleeves & sweater vest…awful! ( except on Shea, who’s beautiful in everything)

They’re all horrible, I’m kinda sorry for the girl who made the video tho, so much effort to film and explain these horrible clothes.

Shea do you think you could do a video series with outfits inspired by cities(outfits for Paris, New York, London,…)? That would be so cool looking into the fashion of different countries and cities!!

Shea, I so appreciate your fun attitude and your style. Could you do a video on date night outfits? I just finished 8 years of 4 babies and an ever changing body. I’m ready to invest in a nice wardrobe again as everything in my current size is a decade outdated 🙈 what do I wear on a night out with my husband without looking like I just stepped out of 2003?

Clearly everyone lost their minds this and last year. These trends are terrible. You can rock anything tho Shea!

@Kayla N two things to consider. This comment thread is not very nice towards anyone. So no one is the good or bad here. And secondly, a lot of these «self righteous» gen z’s around are usually very young, they still have a lot to learn, they are teens, not adults like millenials. I bet we all were a bit bratty when we were teens.
Anja Kathrine Photography
March 23, 2021 at 10:57 am
@Kayla N if they did’t know what were in style in the early 2000s they probably wan’t born, so that makes them 03/04 or younger 🤷🏻♀️ these are 15-18 year olds. Give them some years to grow up. I BET that the generation before felt the exact same towards millenials 😂😅

@Anja Kathrine Photography I’m 14 but thank you. Idk why these adults are getting so butthurt over a few teens criticizing their fashion choices 😭 like if u wanna wear your skinny jeans go ahead NO ONE CARES

@Kayla N middle parts look better if you have really sleek straight hair but if you have any other type then middle parts usually look better

Ugh the 90’s. I remember stomping all over LSU campus with heavy Dr Marten boots, oversized plaid flannel and flared Abercrombie jeans. I feel like my mom saying “been there , done that” 😂 love ya though! 😂

I’m all for the athleisure look, but I will never get rid of my skinny jeans. I’m short with an hourglass figure and I think that baggy jeans just make me look stumpy and hide my hips which are one of my best features.

YES. Came here to say this too. I’m 4’11 and CANNOT do the wide-leg pants thing, I look like a tree stump.
Yuki Sapphira
October 15, 2021 at 2:27 pm
I hate baggy jeans with a passion. I don’t have the best figure, I’m naturally a rectangle sadly, but baggy jeans make me feel like I’m walking with tree trunks for legs.

Tbh I don’t look good in skinny jeans so I just wear baggy mom jeans lol

Body type/proportions is the only thing that matters when adapting trends or discarding them. I bet your channel would double in size if you focused on different body types.

You crack me up “I’m old.” Yeah you’re so old that I remember when sweater vests were last in style – like around the time you were born and I was already a college graduate lol.
Oksana Diakonova
March 3, 2021 at 1:15 pm
Don’t be so envious lol
Vivian S.
March 3, 2021 at 1:19 pm
@Oksana Diakonova if we’re lucky we get to age. If not we die young. Don’t project on me your beliefs that to be young – something you have no control over – is better. It just is what it is. But again, wisdom and knowledge come with age.

So the choices are belly shirts or grandma clothes now?

February 21, 2021 at 7:27 pm
Ya man… totally weird. Yet I’m still wearing a mix of grandma and crop tops so I probably can’t say much about it lol

Everything…and I mean everything…comes back around!✌🏼

March 18, 2021 at 4:55 am
I’ve always believed if you wore it the first time it was in style then you’re probably too old to wear it the second time it comes around! Unless you’re Cher! Cher can wear whatever she wants.

Oh boy, it’s clear now, I will be not trendy this year- Thank god😂😂😂😂

The sweater you’re wearing is a nightmare, don’t do that to yourself.
Loving the puffy sleeves, though.

A year from now you’ll be posting a video “what not to wear” and this very vest will be on it lol

I’m sorry I love you but that vest is hideous and is absolutely not flattering
