We went to Dolce&Gabbana's first ever fashion show at Dubai Mall.
Dubai is not adverse to large scale events, and last night it again proved that it can do so in the fashion space, by hosting a full scale runway show at the Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue from Italian fashion powerhouse Dolce & Gabbana.
How big was this thing? Well, let’s put it this way, around 120 international models were flown in especially for the show, as they strutted and pouted their way down a 50-metre-long runway that snaked its way through the world’s largest shopping mall.
Yes, that’s right. The show was hosted in The Dubai Mall’s newly opened Fashion Avenue Extension – and was done so to celebrate the opening the Dolce&Gabbana Dubai Mall boutique.
