ESMOD Dubai Graduation Show 2014

www.esmod-dubai.com presents ESMOD Dubai Graduation Fashion Show 2014, at WAFI Mall Dubai, the students impressed the audience with cutting edge designs and high quality tailoring. Once again, a proof, that the French Fashion Institute ESMOD Dubai is the leading designer forge in the Middle East.

More than 1000 guests came to witness this big moment of the 15 ESMOD Dubai graduates, whose last month's hard work really paid off. The guests were stunned by an exceptional fabric selection and superior execution in fashion design and pattern making.

The show opened with ESMOD Dubai Alumni and Incubator Designers Canella Hostal and Kashish Dang, showcasing their latest collections stocking at the ESMOD Fashion Store at Sunset Mall Jumeirah 3. Their remarkable designs featured feminine cuts and silky fabrics.

Subsequently the second year students got the opportunity to showcase their technical maturity and creative confidence with likewise impressive handmade tailored jackets and trench coats.

Finally, from the moment the graduated students' collections stepped on the catwalk the whole crowd was taken aback. Each graduating designer created and produced a collection, based on their own individual concept, which was presented to the graduation jury on the previous day.

Ayman Hijazi, Department Manager at Ralph Lauren, commented on the graduates' presentations with: "Impressive expertise of the students who can without any doubt be called fashion designers, sharing their passion, creativity, dedication for details and craftsmanship to their best. I have to say that ESMOD is definitely the window of the new fashion scene in Dubai."

Amira Salim — Best Creator Fashion Design
Dean Richard Aquino — Best Creator Pattern Making
Fatema Kinkhabwala — Best Textile Design
Hasleen Kaur Hanand and Aneesha Moorjani — Merit Award by the ESMOD Dubai faculty
Hasleen Kaur Hanand — Jury Award
Ishtar Al Shaybani — Golden Needle Award
Hanan Nader Abedini — DIAC Excellence Award

"Last night, ESMOD Dubai has given its students the opportunity to showcase and demonstrate a brand new fashion wave: The Dubai Street Style. They have set the bar very high from what we are used to see on Dubai's runways; such diversification of fabrics, and designs reminded us of what we stand for". Said Mrs. Tamara Hostal, Founder of ESMOD Dubai.

The Hair and Makeup Team did a great job backstage! It goes without saying that the makeup was done by ESMOD Dubai's Professional Fashion Makeup students and graduates under the direction of ESMOD's makeup trainer Maria R. The makeup products provided by Rimmel London Arabia allowed them to deliver a stunning job for each collection showcased. The awesome and stylish hairdos were created by the amazing team of Sisters Beauty Lounge who was one of the sponsors for the Graduation Show. Once again DJ Tellurian flew in from Amsterdam to mix the tracks for this event.
