   I’m sick and tired of emaciated models who look as if they’re going to faint halfway down the catwalk. What is the reason this obscenity continues?

     Dissily Mordentroge Being A model myself, I know for a fact that being a model isn’t an easy job. They look tired because they have a very busy schedule and they look serious because their job is extremely important.

     It’s the expense of outfitting a size 0-2 compared to (what used to be) the average 7-8. It’s that many more yards of fabric per model, and designers won’t do it.

   Lebanese designers really have an eye for making beautiful dresses that have a regal quality, but it’s kinda unrefreshing. I mean you got a lot of royalty capes, beaded crystals, tulle or chiffon fabric to create that soft texture, bateau neckline, and column silhouette. I mean, you got Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, and now Abed Mahfouz all kinda doing the same thing, but just giving it their own individual twist. Mahfouz’s design tend to appear a bit more simple and functional, but nevertheless it still projects the same aura. I wish more diversity. It’s good to see Dubai becoming a popular hot spot for fashion now. It could probably serve as another major fashion capital, perhaps the fashion capital of the Middle East.

   oh gosh the soap dress really didn’t turn out well. The poor model was really struggling with her walk and bits of it was coming out. I feel like some of these models were a little inexperienced too like the ones at 3:32 stopped a little awkwardly during the pose at the end of the runway. Quite a few of them were struggling with the length of the dresses too though I think they did a good job given the length and weight of the dresses. But i liked the model at 1:53 (has a nice strong walk) and also 2:11 (her walk is really natural looking).

   The third model at 1:55 The Asian model was wonderful and she has the best walk … and the best dress … I love it !

    The lighting is horrid. The models look like they just escaped from a concentration camp. The floor color is YUK! What pieces weren’t boring were poorly executed. No make up or accessories. Thumbs down on this one.
