At 88 years old…..I’ve seen all styles come and go….more than once! My figure is hourglass…I look better in widerJean’s. Still, there is a place in my closet for both.
Who is the “They” that wants to tell me what is fashionable or not? Your preference/ your choice.
I’ve got everything from sweats to palazzo pants….love them all.
P.S. I’ve outlived women who judged my choices. Stay free…be true to yourself. Enjoy your pants! 😉

Skinny jeans, hands down! Wide leg jeans are not flattering on everyone, to be honest. Same for mom, loose fit ones and all those shapes like potato sack… ehm, no, thank you. I stick to my skinnies 🤩😅 they are never out of style! Anyway, just wear whatever makes you feel good 😌

Everybody still likes, and wears skinny jeans. They are not a “Fad” but a classic! The only ones saying they are out of style are garment makers and the fashion industry that need to change it up in order to generate income for themselves and the need for a “new look!” Anyone who is smart will wear what looks good on their own particular body shape. In the end that is all that matters: wear what you like and what looks good one YOU!

Skinny jeans are not in a fad in the same way the mini skirt was not just some 60s fad – now they’ve been around for so many years with so many trendy variants, they’ve become a classic basic. Along with the straight jean, the mom jean, the flare jean etc, they’ll always be around in some form.

@Lilia Matthiae I’m short, too (5 feet) and have found bootcut jeans to be the most flattering on my body type. I don’t go for a huge flare at the bottom and thankfully there are different varieties of bootcuts to choose from.

I think it’s good to be aware of the trends so that you can then know which ones to incorporate into your wardrobe or not. Some trends are cringey and I’m not trying to look too foolish. But I agree that classics are good

I’m 5’9″ & slim so I love & wear many types of jeans: skinny, straight, wide legs, cropped, different washes. Wear what looks good on you, what you like, fits your body & lifestyle.

Something that shouldn’t be a trend anymore: using amazon for everything/still using it at all. Support smaller/local businesses and buy second hand when you can! Or if you’re gonna support a big corporation…maybe don’t choose the one that doesn’t treat any of their employees well and dodges a lot of taxes. Jeff doesn’t need anymore money.

Jeans are such a personal choice, especially dressing for your own body type. Whatever you find flattering on yourself and/or most comfortable is what you should wear.

I think it’s now- after 2020 we all feel a bit more like “who gives a care”! Being on trend is like looking like you’re trying too hard to be in the popular click at school and you look like a clown doing it as an adult. Have some flair/ being a bit off kilter is cooler! THE Fashion industry just changes trends to swipe your cash up, then changes trend the following year to swipe more cash up- it’s a never ending “on trend” cycle that is so tiring!

I got my first pair of skinny jeans in 2008. I remember exactly where I was going and I remember thinking “Wow this is a game changer” 😄. Never going back to boot cut and probably never will.

Anyone else scared to wear any other type of jeans other than skinny??? 🤣 I feel like I would look like a clown in them especially because I’m petite. I’m tempted to try some mom jeans because some can look nice but for me it’s always skinny. I love high waisted & extra high waisted skinny jeans 💕

I wear skinny jeans and I’m also loving the mom jeans. I don’t mind straight or wide legged jeans either so whatever looks best with the top and shoes I want to wear is what I put on. Jeans are like shoes they come in a variety and each can elevate or relax an outfit

I still like my old boot-cut jeans. Hugs the curves in the right spots and has a straight leg. Flattering on most body types. I have been out of fashion for 20+ years. 🙂
