Fashion allows us to express ourselves through our clothing. Whether you like to follow all of the latest trends or just stick to your own personal style, you cant deny the fact that our clothes are a huge part of who we are. Even though we think that some of the latest fashion trends are super cool, our parents dont always agree with them. But honestly, when do you ever agree with your parents on anything? To know more about what your parents cant stand you wearing, check out our video about 5 Fashion Trends Your Parents Will Never Understand.
Sagging is a popular trend amongst young men that involves wearing pants loosely around or below their bottoms. This style was made popular thanks to rappers and hip hop artists, but most parents just wish that the trend would go away. There was even a law passed in a city in Florida that bans the sagging pants style from being worn on city-owned property. But youll have to watch the video to find out where this fashion trend first originated from.
While teenagers may love the gray hair fashion trend, our parents just dont get why wed want to look like were getting old. Not only is gray hair associated with the aging process, but older women are actually expected to dye their hair to cover up their grays. But now that young women have popularized the look, its suddenly totally acceptable amongst the beauty world to go gray. So maybe our parents should be thanking us instead of judging us.
From leggings and bralettes to onesie pajamas, there are so many fashion trends that our parents just dont understand. Just make sure to keep watching to see why ripped jeans are considered to be so offensive.

Ellie Devitt besides, if you have the balls you say you do then you would be tagging somebody in your comments! But I guess it’s to everyone on here since no one likes you! And yes you are beyond f****** stupid to think anyone else is going to go off here and deal with some slut/child/want to be keyboard Warrior! I must say you are about the biggest joke I’ve ever seen on these comments…smh and yes you beyond use that term wrong! Actually I like your comments they just shows how stupid you are!

My parents are all cool with the skinny/ripped jeans and leggings. Like, they are really strict (ex military dad and mom from military fam ppl) but they still approve all this. Except the bralette and grey hair, bcoz dad still say “don’t ruin your original color, you can go crazy with grey hair once you turn 67”

Melanie Barrientos my great grandma (87 yrs old) keeps on saying to me when I wear ripped leggings and jeans saying “should I sow on some patches for them? They’re ripped!” And I laugh and say countless times that they’re made like this. (Except leggings I ripped those myself)

Even know I’m in my 20’s my parents would have been okay with half of these trends hell my mom would have suggested that we get some cheap jeans and ripped them ourselves.
Only thing was I couldn’t do was dye my hair period just like your dad my dad thought I was ruining my hair If I dyed it.

My mom asked me if I was wearing my ripped jeans to church, because they’re “wholy.” I laughed at her cheesy joke. But she loves my fashion sense. The only thing she doesn’t like are the bralettes.
